On November 6, Prince William appeared on the green carpet at the Earthshot Awards in Cape Town in a vintage, environmentally friendly style, in line with the event’s theme.
William wore an old plaid blazer, believed to have been purchased from a vintage shop in London.
Inside, the father of three wore a light blue shirt, combined with navy blue trousers.
The 42-year-old prince also wore sneakers from Purified Shoes, a brand that is a finalist in the Earthshot Prize and is plastic-free and biodegradable.
William chatted excitedly with hosts Robert Irwin and Nomzamo Mbatha on the blue carpet.
The fourth Earthshot Awards ceremony in Cape Town this year attracted many celebrities to attend such as Heidi Klum, Winnie Harlow, Robert Irwin, Billy Porter…
At this event, William went alone without his wife, Princess Kate, as in 2022 (pictured). Kate was unable to attend because she has not yet fully returned to official duties after completing chemotherapy for cancer. However, the Prince of Wales mentioned his wife in a short interview. He said Kate is ‘doing well’ and has been ‘extraordinary’ during a difficult year.
In addition, William also brought the bracelet given by his children on his business trip away from home.
The bracelet, which is strung with beads to spell out the word ‘papa’, was made by William’s daughter, Princess Charlotte
