On the morning of December 25, the Princess of Wales held hands with Prince Louis as they walked to St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, Norfolk. Louis wore a black jacket and shorts – the traditional attire for royal boys under the age of 8. The 4-year-old prince walked mischievously ahead of his two older siblings, Prince George (9 years old) and Princess Charlotte (7 years old), next to the Prince of Wales.
As the royals entered the church, George held out his hand to guide his youngest brother Louis. Despite this being his first Christmas service at the church in Sandringham, Louis appeared to be at ease, smiling as the media hounded him before entering the church. This was George and Charlotte’s second time attending the event.
After the service, Louis held a Christmas present of a feathered Santa Claus alongside his mother, while the Princess of Wales chatted with a young girl outside the church. Hundreds of people had gathered at St Mary Magdalene since early morning to welcome the royals.
Prince Louis is the youngest child of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The little prince is loved by many people for his mischievous personality and adorable expressions when appearing in public.
Celebrating Christmas at Sandringham, Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite country estate in Norfolk, is a long-standing tradition of the British Royal Family. However, this activity has been interrupted for the past two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This year, King Charles III continued the tradition when he and his family members including Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, William and his wife, and their grandchildren gathered at Sandringham to celebrate Christmas.
Regarding the Sussexes’ newly released documentary, on December 24, Page Six quoted longtime British Royal photographer Arthur Edwards as saying that Prince Harry can say what he likes but “it won’t change anything” for his family.
Photographer Arthur Edwards (82 years old) has been taking pictures of the British Royal Family since 1977. He recently attended the Royal Carols: Together for Christmas concert at Westminster Abbey. This was a ceremony organized by the Princess of Wales with the participation of the most senior members of the Royal Family, including: King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
“They walked down the aisle together, the extended family sending out a single message to anyone who wanted to know: This family is united,” Edwards said.
