For the formal event to remember the soldiers who died in the war, Kate wore a black Catherine Walker & Co. dress with a velvet bow at her neck. She also used the traditional red poppy brooch and wore Bahrain pearl earrings, as she has done at four previous Remembrance ceremonies.

These earrings, which feature several small diamonds and a Bahrain pearl, are part of the late Queen Elizabeth II’s jewelry collection. Meanwhile, Catherine Walker & Co was Princess Diana’s favorite fashion brand. According to British media, through her outfit and jewelry, Kate wanted to honor the two most influential women in the royal family, the late Queen and Princess Diana.

Kate finished chemotherapy in September but has not yet returned to work. This is the second major event in two consecutive days she has attended. Kate also attended the memorial service at the Royal Albert Hall on the evening of November 9th.

The Princess of Wales has never missed a Remembrance Day service since joining the royal family in 2011. Last year, Kate paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II by wearing another pair of pearl earrings belonging to the late monarch, who was known for her love of pearl jewellery.

In 2021, Kate wore Collingwood Pearl Drop earrings from Diana ‘s jewelry collection , recreating the image of her late mother-in-law with a wide-brimmed hat that evoked memories of Diana in 1992.
