Queen Elizabeth II is fond of family photos and often displays beautiful pictures of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in her home. These pictures, many of which have never been seen before, are often displayed on the main tables in Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle when the Queen is photographed and receiving guests.

However, on June 24, during British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s first weekly audience with the Queen in 15 months due to Covid-19 restrictions, fans quickly discovered that the head of the royal family had removed the engagement photo of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle from the main table in the room.

The Queen previously placed this photo right next to the one of William and Kate and the one of Harry and William in military uniform. But last year, she decided to move the Sussexes’ photo to the table behind her and doesn’t seem to intend to put it back.

The photo, which shows Meghan wearing a powder blue dress while Harry wears a suit, was on the main table when the Queen met Boris Johnson in July 2019.

However, the photo was passed on in October 2019 during a reception for Grenada’s High Commissioner Kisha Alexander-Grant. The visit came days after an  ITV  documentary following the Sussexes on their trip to Africa aired. In the documentary, Meghan said no one in the royal family asked if she was okay, while Harry confirmed a rift with his brother William.

A year and a half later, there has been a lot of drama and drama behind palace walls for the Sussexes. The couple have stepped back from the royal family to start a new life in the US, and in March, they gave a bombshell interview to Oprah Winfrey.

During the conversation, the couple made shocking claims about the royal family, including accusing family members of being racist towards Archie, and claiming they did not receive mental health help despite having suicidal thoughts.

Amid the ongoing noise, it seems that the Queen has decided to keep the photo of the former American actor in the same position on the back table as before and not move it back to its original position. The photo of Harry and William in uniform is also no longer appearing in this important position, after the Queen stripped Harry of all honorary military roles and patronages in March. The table now only has a photo of the Cambridges and a photo of the Prince with his mother.
