The Prince of Wales has delivered a rallying cry to the England men’s football team, telling them to “go out there and show the world what you’re made of” before the Euro 2024 final.
As president of the English Football Association (FA), William will be in the stands cheering on the Three Lions as they face Spain in Berlin on Sunday. Taking to social media on Saturday, he expressed his pride: “We are so proud of you all England, just one last push to finish the job! “.
“Go out there and show the world what you’re made of. We believe. W.”
William has been a visible supporter throughout the tournament, having attended England’s quarter-final triumph over Switzerland and the group match against Denmark, where he was spotted celebrating amongst fans.

Following England’s nail-biting semi-final victory against the Netherlands, he praised Ollie Watkins’ decisive goal, posting: “What a beauty, Ollie! Congratulations England! #EURO2024 Finalists. W.”
His father, the King, also offered his praise but with a humorous twist, suggesting the team spare the nation further suspense.
After the 2-1 win over the Dutch team, Charles sent his “very best wishes” and “warmest congratulations” from the Royal family to Gareth Southgate’s squad.
