Meghan’s new and well-prepared ‘strategic move’ is making the British royal family wary. Will it stir up turmoil within the Royal Family..

Meghan Markle’s lawyers filed a new trademark application for her lifestyle blog The Tig in July last year, according to the Daily Mail. The application was filed by a Delaware-based parent company called Frim Fram Inc, which is linked to Meghan’s business manager Andrew Meyer.

A similar application filed in 2019 expired last year. Meghan’s lawyer said at the time: ” The permanent registration is intended to prevent people from falsely claiming to be the Duchess or showing that they are associated with her .”

The move has sparked speculation that Meghan will one day relaunch the blog. A few weeks ago, royal expert Myka Meier predicted that the mother of two would soon launch a blog similar to The Tig to compete with similar sites like actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop.

Meghan often posts photos of her lifestyle and travels on her personal blog.

Before becoming a British royal, Meghan, a former American actress, owned the lifestyle site The Tig, which she started in 2014. She reportedly named the blog after her favorite wine, Tignanello. During the time she developed her personal blog, Meghan shared her thoughts on a variety of topics, including feminism and travel.

The Duchess also posts recipes and shares photos from her vacations. The former American actress once described The Tig as a “passion project” that eventually “grew into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity.”

The Tig’s most popular post is “How To Be Both,” in which Meghan shares candid thoughts on balancing “celebrity life” with doing “everyday things.” The 2,000-word post was published in October 2016, a few months after she began dating Prince Harry.

Meghan will restart her personal blog, causing the royal family to be wary.

The Duchess later had to shut down her passionate blog a few months before her engagement to Prince Harry in 2017. Because royal rules do not allow their members to publicly own social media accounts for personal purposes.

Now that the Sussexes have left the royal family and are no longer serving the Queen, Meghan is likely to restart the project to promote her brand. Many experts believe that this is a clever “new move” by Meghan because it will be fertile ground for her to raise her own views, more or less influence the royal family and attract more supporters.

Meghan’s reopening of her personal blog is certainly a move that makes the British royal family wary because no one is sure what new tricks the duchess will launch.
