Harry’s friends: “Meghan is a nightmare.” The British royal family will never accept her…

According to royal historian Robert Lacey, author of  Battle of Brothers,  friends of Prince Harry and William are trying to reconcile the brothers. Lacey said they “regularly discuss how to mend” the rift between Harry and William – despite “increasingly feeling hopeless”.

In addition, the historian also said that even the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s supporters had to admit that Meghan’s actions were wrong. Lacey shared: “Sussex supporters admit that attention-seeking and self-pitying actions are characteristic of Meghan and can understand why that would annoy William so much.”

“Meghan can be a nightmare 500% of the time, Harry’s best friend is one of the first to admit. Always on the prowl. That’s all she’s got… Oh America!” Lacey wrote in the  Mail .

The royal historian also added that the Duke of Cambridge would have no choice but to “swallow his pride and smile” if he had to stand next to his sister-in-law on the palace balcony during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations marking 70 years of the Queen’s reign next year.

“According to one of my sources, someone pointed out to him that in most households there is a sister-in-law who is a pain in the ass. And William nodded in agreement. Then suddenly he exploded in anger and said, ‘But look at how that damn woman treats my staff – it’s so cruel!'” Lacey continued.

Not only that, in the book  Battle of Brothers , Lacey also commented that the conflict “between Princess Diana’s two sons will not end anytime soon”. William seemed to immediately become angry when he read the text accusing Meghan of bullying staff compiled by Kensington Palace’s communications director, Jasson Knauf. For William, Meghan’s actions were “fundamentally hostile and confrontational to the royal system”.

In the book, Lacey claims staff felt humiliated by the Duchess of Sussex and even Harry was criticised by aides for his increasingly intimidating behaviour.

“I overheard a conversation between Harry and one of his closest aides. Harry was screaming on the phone,” a palace aide recounted in the book.

The Sussexes have vehemently denied the allegations. A spokesman for the family said Meghan was the victim of a calculated smear campaign and was preparing a 30-page dossier to counter the claims.
