November 27 marks the seventh anniversary of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement announcement. The couple announced their engagement just over a year after they began dating in the summer of 2016. Body language expert Darren Stanton said Meghan’s eye contact and gestures of affection for Harry are key signs that their relationship will “stand the test of time.”
“Eye contact is a great indicator of the level of affection between couples, ” says Darren Stanton . “Normal eye contact is three to five seconds, while prolonged eye contact is more than five seconds. This is usually reserved for people we care about or romantic partners, as it feels very normal and natural to prolong that level of eye contact.”
He also analyzed Prince Harry and his wife: “Harry and Meghan often make prolonged eye contact with each other, which demonstrates the deep level of connection and harmony between the couple. Meghan is especially good at eye contact, as she tends to focus on whoever she is talking to.” Expert Darren Stanton also described Meghan’s physical affection as a sign that their relationship will “stand the test of time”.
” Another key indicator of deep trust between the couple is when Meghan puts her hand on Harry’s back. In certain gestures, this could be called a power pat. However, in this context, Meghan puts her hand on his back as a sign of reassurance. She is an extremely tactile person, which is a quality that Harry also possesses. Some people don’t like being hugged or touched, but Harry and Meghan are both kinesthetic types, which means they tend to respond to situations instinctively and from an emotional standpoint,” he added.
