Before the statements affected RF too much, Princess Anne ‘gave’ Meghan Markle: ‘It’s a job, not a means to become hugely famous’

Princess Anne offered some “no-nonsense” advice to Meghan Markle, a royal commentator has claimed.

The Princess Royal reportedly told the Duchess of Sussex that being a member of the Royal Family is a “job” rather than a celebrity role.

Royal commentator Neil Sean explained on his YouTube channel that Meghan “sought out” Princess Anne when she joined the Royal Family. According to Sean, Princess Anne, known for her straightforwardness like her father the late Duke of Edinburgh, provided Meghan with sage advice.

“When Meghan Markle joined the Royal Family, she sought out Princess Anne,” Sean said. “Princess Anne emphasized that being a royal is a job. You turn up on time, do your research, and fulfill your duties.”

Princess Anne stressed the importance of focusing on the task at hand and immersing oneself in any charitable work.

Sean claimed Meghan “left the meeting dumbfounded” and did not warm to Princess Anne. He also suggested that Princess Anne anticipated Meghan would have a short tenure within the British monarchy.
