Princess Kate was diagnosed with cancer in March and a royal expert said the health crisis has made her rethink her priorities in life. It seems that all the noise related to Harry and Meghan is no longer important to Princess Kate.
Jennie Bond, a former reporter who specializes in following the British Royal Family, commented that facing illness may have made Princess Kate reconsider her life and what is really important. She said that the Princess’s top priorities now are her husband and children. Jennie Bond shared: “I definitely think that cancer has made Princess Kate reconsider her life and her priorities. And I think those priorities are definitely her family, her husband and her children . “
In March, Princess Kate revealed she had been diagnosed with cancer. In June, the princess said she was undergoing preventive chemotherapy and had “good days and bad days.”
Jennie Bond also said that perhaps Princess Kate no longer has the energy to worry about past issues or anything related to Harry and Meghan in the present or future. According to Jennie, for Princess Kate and Prince William, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who gave up their senior roles in the Royal Family in January 2020, are considered “no longer relevant”.
“As far as William and Kate are concerned , Harry and Meghan are no longer relevant to them, their family and their future. But there hasn’t really been any new noise from California since Kate was diagnosed with cancer, so I don’t think there’s anything in particular that makes William feel he has to cover for Kate,” she added .
She described Princess Kate and Prince William as a “close and strong couple”, especially after 13 years of marriage. Jennie affirmed: “I don’t think they have anything to fear from Harry and Meghan anymore” .
The comments come after it was reported that Kate will join King Charles and other members of the Royal Family at Balmoral Castle for their annual summer gathering. In a previous conversation, Jennie revealed that the summer break will be a much-needed break for the Royal Family after a year dominated by health concerns.
“It has been a difficult year for the Royal Family and nothing would please His Majesty more than to be able to spend some time with his close family in the tranquil surroundings of Balmoral to reflect together, mark the end of an incredibly difficult few months and look forward to the future,” she explained .
