Prince William’s friends are unhappy with Prince Harry’s plans to return to the British Royal Family after years of discord.
According to a source from The Mirror, Prince Harry is gradually wanting to return to the British Royal Family and is ready to take on duties again after 4 years since giving up his title. However, Prince Harry will only do this when he receives an apology from his brother William. In response, a friend of Prince William expressed his disappointment and mocked the Duke of Sussex.
“We all know that Harry wants to be a part-time royal, but the late Queen Elizabeth made it very clear that he can’t do it half-heartedly,” William’s friend shared. “Nothing has changed. Anyone who says this on Harry’s behalf is just pretending not to get the message that Harry is not welcome.”
Despite being estranged from the royal family, King Charles’s youngest son still hopes to take on the role temporarily if his father asks him to. However, Harry would need an apology from his brother before returning, which may seem impossible, especially since Harry has been so critical of William not only in his Spare memoir but also on television and in his documentaries.
The two brothers met in London (UK) at the end of August at the memorial service for the late Princess Diana’s brother-in-law. However, the two did not speak to each other even though this was the first time they met since King Charles’ coronation in May 2023.
