Less than a month after Prince Harry’s nude photo scandal, the British Royal Family has another headache when topless photos of Princess Catherine, wife of Prince William, were published on the cover of a foreign magazine.
on the occasion of Queen Elizabeth II’s 60th year on the throne. French magazine Closer (which published Kate’s topless photos) said that these photos were taken when the Duke and Duchess were vacationing at a castle in Luberon.

Kate innocently took off her swimsuit and applied cream to William were published right on the cover and took up 5 pages inside Closer magazine with the sensational message: “Oh my God! This image will go around the world… The future Queen of England like you’ve never seen her before… and you won’t have the chance to see her like this again”.
It is worth mentioning that Kate’s topless photos were not covered by photoshop tricks. The British royal family and many British citizens are outraged by these prying images from Closer.
The British royal couple did not hide their anger at the invasion of privacy by the French magazine and the photographer who took the photos, especially Prince William. The prince is still haunted by the death of his mother – Princess Diana 15 years ago.
In August 1997, she was killed in a car crash in Paris while fleeing paparazzi there. St Jame’s Palace hinted that the sensitive private photos of Princess Catherine were reminiscent of Princess Diana’s death 15 years ago.

Kate Middleton is known to the world as a dignified Princess with an elegant and discreet image. Therefore, although the above photos are not as serious as the previous nude photo scandal of Prince Harry, they have seriously affected the image she has built for so long.
Currently, the British Royal Family is taking legal proceedings to sue Closer. Traditionally, the Royal Family never takes legal action against the media. However, Closer has seriously violated the privacy of senior members of the Royal Family and they can no longer compromise.
In the latest statement from the British Royal Family, a spokesman for St James’s Palace said: “The Royal Family is deeply saddened to learn that a French magazine and a photographer have invaded the privacy of their private lives in a bizarre and completely unreasonable way.
Two years before she became a member of the British Royal Family, Kate won a breach of privacy lawsuit when a photo agency published pictures of her playing tennis in Cornwall on Christmas Day 2009. Kate received a public apology and legal costs from photo agency Rex Features.
