Digital car renderer Timothy Adry Emmanuel is quite the expert when it comes to widebody digital concepts, particularly for American cars. His latest creation now on his Instagram page is a 1957 Chevrolet 150 rendering that’s undergone a rather beefy widebody transformation, as well as now having a NASCAR style boom tube exhaust to drastically alter the appearance of what used to be quite the sedate family sedan.
Emmanuel has described this car as getting a bit of a “NASCAR Steroid” treatment on his Instagram post. Taking a look at the car from the front first, the hood has been completely taken off to reveal what is really quite the barebones front-end. The description of the rendering states that it is now a twin-turbo LS motor-powered machine.
That motor is completely exposed, and we can see the pair of turbochargers that are also lurking in there. From the front, this looks more like a car that a mad scientist would drive. The chrome bumper is still present at the bottom of the front fascia, although the front now has a very different style set.

The widebody nature of this car is evident as we start to move along the side of it. Hefty wheel fender flares bulk up the stance of the Chevy 150, which looks even wilder when we see the five-pointed alloys that the tires are on. Those alterations on their own would have been enough to rather drastically change the appearance of the car.
The Chevy 150 is sitting on some absolutely huge Yokohama tires, which is probably not something Chevrolet would have envisaged when they made this car. The most interesting changes though might be at the rear of the car.

If we move to the back of the Chevy, we can see some very cool changes. The already stylish tailfins have gained two more, giving the ‘150 a quad-tailfin arrangement. This certainly gives off a bit more of a NASCAR vibe. That vibe grows further when we see the NASCAR style boom tube exhaust at the side of the ‘150, pumping out all the noise from that crazy twin-turbo LS setup.
Moving back to the rear, and that distinctive chrome bumper has is no more, to give a pretty barebones appearance for the back end, which just ties in nicely with the attitude of this exceptional rendering.
