Prince Harry appeared to take on the style of an “angry authoritarian” as he appealed to tourists to look after the environment, a body language expert claimed.

The Duke of Sussex made a surprise cameo at the annual general meeting of Travalyst, a sustainable travel initiative he created shortly before departing the Royal Family.

The royal tuned into the conference directly from his Montecito, California mansion to demand action to save the “beating heart” of the travel industry – local communities in popular holiday hotspots.

But body language analyst Judy James noted Harry appeared to show “hints of annoyance” as he delivered his message to meeting attendees.

James told the Daily Express: “He decides to deliver this scripted message to the camera in the style of an angry authoritarian.

“He begins with his mouth pursed in prim annoyance and when he uses the word ‘ensure’ his right hand comes up in an emphatic baton gesture while his eyebrows raise to create that look of authority.

“He bites at his words despite the fact his eyes can be seen scanning a running script, and his head tilts to hint at the annoyance or frustration with anyone not yet on message.”

The body language expert added: “The word ‘Entity’ gets a similar over-working as his mouth widens horizontally and his ‘We need to work together’ comes not with a mimed hug or a smile of unity but a finger baton followed by a sucking in of the lips.”

His latest video appearance is likely to dampen rumors about his association with Travalyst after the initiative last year announced it had entered an “incredibly exciting” era – with no mention of the Duke.
