Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s charity Archewell has been declared ‘delinquent’ after they were found to have failed to turn in its annual reports.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing a considerable “fall from grace” after they were ordered to stop fundraising and spending money through their Archewell Foundation, it has been claimed.
The California Attorney General issued a letter to the foundation declaring it “delinquent” after it failed to turn in its annual financial records, as well as pay the renewal fee with the Californian registry of charities and fundraisers.
AG Rob Bonta said in his letter: “An organisation that is listed as delinquent is not in good standing and is prohibited from engaging in conduct for which registration is required, including soliciting or disbursing charitable funds.”
Broadcaster Kevin O’Sullivan called the decision a “fall from grace” for the couple after their apparent success in Nigeria, where they spent three days on an unofficial tour at the weekend.
The TalkTV presenter said: “While they’re being self-styled VIPs in Africa, guess what? Their charity foundation Archewell has been declared delinquent by the Californian Attorney General.

“It has now been ordered to stop raising money and to stop spending money. So this is quite the fall from grace for their big, charitable concerns.”
O’Sullivan also questioned whether Archewell’s latest issues could be an indication of general issues the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are grappling with when it comes to managing the foundation.
He continued: “Is their operation in California slightly dysfunctional? Because this is about not returning the documents, the signed documents, and the business arrangements that anybody who runs a charity or a business has to do once a year.
