Meghan Markle is ‘horr!fied’ by Archie and Lilibet’s big decision, they will return to England with King Charles (video)

It seems as though all is not lost for Meghan Markle’s relationship with the Royal Family, with reports suggesting she has been texting King Charles.

The Duchess of Sussex has been sharing snaps of her adorable children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet with the monarch, according to claims made in royal biographer Omid Scobie’s new book Endgame. The author admitted he was “surprised” to learn that Meghan had kept in touch with Charles.

Meghan and her husband Prince Harry stepped back from the Royal Family three years ago and they’ve had a tense relationship ever since. The Sussexes made a number of explosive claims about The Firm in their bombshell Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan.

Omid said that Meghan has not been sending the pictures “directly” to Charles. The author said there is a “willingness there” from Meghan to have her children bond with their grandfather.

However, it seems the same can’t be said for Harry. Speaking to People, the royal author said Harry still has “unfinished business” with the Royal Family.

“His challenge will be to find something that balances that out so we can see him working in a space that isn’t connected to the ties that bind from the past,” Omid added. His comments come amid reports Meghan and Harry haven’t been invited to spend Christmas in the UK.

According to a friend of Harry’s, the couple “would love to” spend Christmas with the royals as Charles has never spent the festive season with his two grandkids. The couple last had a family Christmas at Sandringham in 2018 prior to them leaving the UK and moving to the US.

“I can’t imagine the Sussexes would decline an invitation to spend time with His Majesty. As of yet, there have not been any invitations for the holidays,” the friend told The Sunday Times.

Despite the Christmas snub, Harry and Meghan did have a phone call with Charles for his 75th birthday. They also showed the King a video of Archie and Lillibet singing Happy Birthday. The chat is thought to have been a “turning point” in the frosty relations
