King Charles will host a garden party at Buckingham Palace this afternoon after Prince Harry said his father was too busy to see him during his whistle-stop visit to the UK.

Royal experts claimed it was “quite a snub” from the King after the Duke of Sussex admitted his father’s ‘diary of commitments’ meant he was unable to see him as he makes a speech in London to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

King was ‘quite right’ not to meet Harry, says royal watcher
Yesterday, Prince Harry confirmed his father did not have time to see him due to his royal duties.

Standing out St Paul’s watching the Duke of Sussex enter the cathedral one royal watcher said Charles was ‘quite right’ in the decision not to visit his younger son.

‘I think they’re quite right to say, ‘no meeting’. Can’t have it both ways,’ they said.
