Prince Louis has made a few rare public appearances at Royal events, such as Trooping the Colour and King Charles’s coronation last year. According to experts, his recent absence can be attributed to his parents’ careful strategy for introducing their children to public life. Royal producer Lizzy Robinson provided some insight into this approach:
“They are providing a gentle introduction to public duties for their kids. They’ve been really careful about managing how and when they involve them in public events. Each event is considered on a case-by-case basis, and Louis’s absence suggests they are considering what is right for each child at the right time. His time will come,” Robinson explained.
In reality, Prince Louis is still too young for events like Wimbledon or a soccer match. His siblings, Charlotte and George, both attended Wimbledon for the first time at age eight, so it’s anticipated that Louis will join these types of events in a couple of years.
This thoughtful approach by Catherine and William has won admiration from many fans. Their decision to shield Louis from the public eye until he’s ready, while gradually introducing George and Charlotte to royal duties, has been widely praised.
Charlotte’s appearance at the men’s final at Wimbledon this year was a deliberate choice. Catherine made her second public appearance since her cancer diagnosis in March, during which she has been undergoing preventive chemotherapy. Despite the challenges, Catherine has shared both good and bad days. Charlotte joined her at the tennis event, accompanied by Catherine’s sister, Pippa Middleton. The pair received a standing ovation as they entered the Royal box, with Charlotte looking proudly at her mother.
Royal editor Matt Wilkinson noted, “Look at Charlotte looking up at her mother. She knows what Catherine has been going through for the past six or seven months.
