The ceremony to transfer the title of “Colonel Commander” of the British Army Aviation to Prince William took place in front of an Apache helicopter, as well as in the presence of the service team at the Air Force Museum in England, Southern England.

Speaking at the ceremony, King Charles III, who has held this noble title for the past 32 years, said emotionally: “I hope you will become stronger and stronger in the future with your new role as “Commander Colonel”. ” by the British Army Air Corps. The above event marks the latest activity of King Charles III since the monarch returned to work at the end of April, nearly three months since Buckingham Palace announced he was undergoing treatment.
The decision to transfer the above title was announced last August (2023), after King Charles III ascended the throne.
After the transfer ceremony on May 13, Prince William spent time with the British Army Aviation Corps, observing training and equipment activities and listening to reports from soldiers.
