On November 10, Narinder Kaur became the center of attention when she commented on Princess Kate ‘s appearance during her latest return to royal duties.
On her X account, Kaur shared a Daily Mail article reporting that the Princess of Wales attended a service to commemorate British soldiers who died in war and conflict at the Cenotaph – a war memorial in Whitehall, London, England, on the same day. In the attached photo, Kate is wearing a black outfit, her hair in a bun and a hat with a veil.

“A genuine question – why does Kate look so old? Isn’t she only 42? Is she a smoker? That’s the only explanation,” the Good Morning Britain commentator wrote.
As if that wasn’t enough, Kaur then added: “My brother also has cancer. He doesn’t age like that.”
The 51-year-old MC’s statement quickly sparked outrage online. Royal fans criticized Kaur with harsh words.
Netizens commented: “What a horrible status by Narinder Kaur, going so far beyond human morality. Disgusting”, “She is battling cancer. I have no words to describe how insulting she is”, “What a cruel and thoughtless statement. She has just recovered from cancer, has gone through an emotional and tiring event, and has to endure the stress of having cameras pointed at her”, “Kaur is a weirdo”, “If her brother had undergone chemotherapy, she should have been more empathetic in her comments”, “It was not just a comment. She was mocking the appearance of a woman who had undergone some form of cancer treatment. She was being sarcastic when she commented on smoking. I am sure she knew exactly what she was doing. She has the right to freedom of speech, but that does not mean she can use it to hurt others”…
Facing backlash, Narinder Kaur later shared a video clarifying her stance.
“I posted something stupid. That was not my intention. I was not malicious or trying to be offensive. Anyone who knows me knows that I am not that kind of person. It was stupid to ask about my age. I admit that. I hold my hand up and apologize if it was offensive,” the beauty opened .
The TV star said that her brother had undergone painful chemotherapy before he died of cancer, so there was no discrimination against Kate based on her appearance. However, she mentioned that Kate had many privileges, such as not having to go to work, while she was receiving treatment.
Kaur also criticized netizens who attacked her with sexist, racist insults and threats of violence.
“You have exposed all this because I, a brown woman, an Indian, have the audacity to criticize Kate’s appearance. I am not going anywhere. I am not leaving the country. I will continue. You can continue to destroy me if you want, but you cannot silence my voice just because I am a brown woman. You will never convince me otherwise,” Kaur said.
The host revealed that many of the comments she received were about Meghan Markle, accusing her of creating discord between the two sisters-in-law. However, Kaur retorted: “What does Meghan have to do with this?”
