British royal family news divulges that basic cable actress Meghan Markle was a little fish in a big pond before she was thrust onto the world stage via her marriage to Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.
These two left the monarchy in 2020, thinking they could do everything better on their own: make money, be philanthropists, achieve world peace, etc. That’s not how it’s worked out for the Markles and instead they are mired in bad publicity because of their cheap stunts and bizarre rants against their families.
Meghan’s latest ticky tack move came at the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital Gala that she allegedly crashed for the phot op. Here’s what to know.
Royal News: Meghan’s Red Dress
Lizzie Cundy is a British socialite who was invited to the event. She was “Meghan’s friend once upon a time” and spilled the tea about that night to the Daily Mail.
According to her “There wasn’t a great deal of warmth from people when [Meghan] arrived. She wasn’t there long — she seemed to be there for the photographs.” Meghan showed up in a used, slashed to here and there, red dress that social media declared totally inappropriate for a children’s function.
Video from the red carpet shows Meghan flicking her tongue like a lizard, a behavior that has been caught on camera more than once, leading to all sorts of speculation as to what’s provoking her bizarre behavior
Meghan Markle Crashed Children’s Event
Cundy noted that people were trying to ignore the Discount Duchess and said “Meghan needs LA more than LA needs her. LA people feel they’ve been played by her.”
The Brit socialite told the Daily Mail that she, like Piers Morgan, was friendly with Meghan before her engagement to Prince Harry. Meghan and Cundy met at a charity event in 2013. Piers and Meghan texted each other until Harry told her not to, allegedly.
In her pre-Harry life, Meghan played Rachel Zane on the cable show “Suits” which is her claim to fame, hardly Oscar material. Now that the Markles are ignoring each other, will Meghan return to acting?
In a 2022 interview with Variety, Meghan said of her stellar acting career: “I’m done. I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not.” Tell us royal fans, do you think Meghan’s intentions are charitable or self-serving?
