Prince Harry Surpasses David Beckham in ‘Hottest Men of All Time’ List – Fans Outraged: ‘Is This Rigged?

Prince Harry has been ranked 25th in a list of the hottest men of all time, beating Ryan Gosling, David Beckham and Channing Tatum.

James Dean, Marlon Brando and Cary Grant were uncontroversial picks for the top three places in the list, put together by Harper’s Bazaar.

Harry at No. 25 came in above some A-list Hollywood stars famous for their good looks, including Gosling, who was given the following commendation: “If you somehow didn’t fall in love with Gosling in The Notebook (which is pretty impossible), the actor’s had endless additional roles to convince you from Blue Valentine to Crazy, Stupid, Love.”

Prince Harry’s entry read: “The younger of British princes has long remained one of the most covetable bachelors in the world.”

The example cited as his “peak level of hot” was a charity event in London in which he played handball with local kids in 2017 for the “Fit and Fed” initiative, which aims to give children lunch and exercise during the summer holidays.

The citation describes him as being “now engaged to Meghan Markle” suggesting at least some of the copy may have been produced prior to their May 2018 royal wedding, though the publication date on the article was October 21, 2024.

Also below Harry on the list at No. 33 was Tatum—who plays Magic Mike in the movie about male strippers.

Mahershala Ali—star of Moonlight—was way down in 49th place, while “the extremely handsome and dapper English actor” Henry Cavill, who plays Superman, was No. 46.

Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård, who starred in HBO’s True Blood, The Legend of Tarzan and Succession came in 44th place.

Meanwhile, soccer star David Beckham was 39th, actor Michael B. Jordan was 38th and John Hamm came in 37th.

One fan of Harry’s wasted no time in pointing out on X, formerly Twitter, that Prince William hadn’t made the list: “The #Spare author, Prince Harry is number 25 in The 50 Hottest Men of all time!!! Unfortunately the heir didn’t make the list.

“The Duke of Sussex has been looking suntanned, dewy skin and well tailored out there. Duchess Meghan’s husband is indeed hot! #PrinceHarry #GoodKingHarry.”

Harper’s Bazaar gave some indication of what it looked for when compiling the list: “How exactly do we define sexiness? As it turns out, it has much less to do with simply the angles of these men’s chiseled jaws or the contours of their muscled abdomens (although, those factors certainly help).

“Instead, it has everything to do with how they carry themselves—their confidence, their skills, and their charisma.

“From James Dean to Michael B. Jordan, the following 50 men have enough star quality to charm the entire globe.”
