Carole has been increasingly present in Charlotte’s life as she continues to support Kate during her ongoing cancer treatment which comes as no surprise as she previously confessed that she is incredibly “hands-on” when it comes to her grandparenting.
In an interview with Good Housekeeping in 2021, she admitted: “I want to run down the hills, climb the trees and go through the tunnel at the playground. As long as I am able to, that’s what I’ll be doing. I cook with them, I muck around dancing, we go on bike rides.”
In 2019, as William and Kate went head-to-head during the King’s Cup Regatta on the Isle of Wight, George and Charlotte were pictured watching the action from a nearby boat with Granny and Grandpa Middleton. At first, Charlotte looked rather coy as she held onto her grandmother and mother, before cheekily sticking her tongue out at her grandfather.
In 2016, Carole looked so proud of little Charlotte, who climbed down the step after church alongside her mother, Kate, who looked very glamorous in a burgundy fur-lined coat. Talking about Christmas with her grandchildren to The Telegraph in 2018, Carole revealed she places Christmas trees in the grandchildren’s rooms “so that they can decorate them themselves.”
Even from afar, Carole was eagerly watching over her granddaughter following her Christening back in 2015. “One of the primary motivations was the desire to be closer to family. “The property is situated near Pippa’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, and her siblings, which facilitates more family time and support, especially as Pippa and James have three young children: Arthur, Grace, and Rose.” Princess Kate and Prince William, both 42, also moved to Berkshire in the summer of 2022. Their children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, attend Lambrook School, near their home Adelaide Cottage located in Windsor Great Park.
Chohan continued: “Pippa and James’s move also aligns with their lifestyle and business interests. “The couple purchased the 72-acre Bucklebury Farm in 2020, which includes a deer park and a petting zoo. “They have been investing in and developing the farm to include additional attractions like a play barn, café, and a farm shop. “This new home allows them to oversee these projects closely while offering their children a rural upbringing similar to Pippa’s own childhood. “Additionally, their new property is a substantial estate with extensive grounds, providing a more expansive and natural environment for their family.
“The estate includes features such as a large walled garden and greenhouses, and it is reported to have an 82-foot swimming pool. “This move to the countryside offers a serene and spacious setting compared to the hustle and bustle of London, which likely contributes to a better quality of life for their family.” Pippa and James Matthews could be earning a “six-figure range” with their business deal, a property expert has claimed. Earlier this year, GB News reported that Pippa, 40, is set to host parties for a set price at her Bucklebury home. Princess Kate’s younger sister and her hedge-fund billionaire husband have opened their home, Bucklebury Farm Park’s lodge in Berkshire, for parties, events, and Pilates. In 2020, Pippa and Matthews purchased 72 acres of land in Berkshire for £1.5million.
