Nick Ede – host of The Royal Agenda on Royalty, and an old friend of Meghan Markle – told Express that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appreciated their influence after announcing their departure from the British Royal Family to live in the US.
“They are confusing the concept of royalty. In the UK, people with titles are royalty, but the real royalty in Hollywood is Jennifer Lopez, Sharon Stone, Beyonce and even the Kardashians. That is the royal family that has the most influence in the entertainment industry,” said Nick Ede.
In America, the concept of Hollywood royalty is very different from that of British royalty. Those who are included in the list of Hollywood royalty must be wealthy and have great influence.
Nick further cited the royal family as influential officials, such as the Obamas and Clintons. Once they sit in the presidential chair, they are powerful figures. Harry’s friend said he did not understand the true meaning of royalty when he decided to take the risk of moving to America.

“The Sussexes are not A-list stars in Hollywood, even though they see themselves as such. Meghan and Harry are far from that and will never be number one. I think their names are gradually being forgotten in Hollywood,” the male MC told Express.
Nick Ede said he was close friends with Meghan years before she met Harry. The two met at the ME Hotel, London, England in 2013 and quickly became friends.
“She flew to England and we quickly became good friends. We were close friends, in regular contact for many years. She suddenly cut off ties with me after meeting the British Prince,” said Nick Ede.
Harry and Meghan Markle currently live in an 18,000 square meter mansion in the US. In an interview with The Cut , the actress said that when she first came to the US, she didn’t have the money to dream of buying a house.
